Tea Etiquette

The beauty of tea is that it is so diverse! Its endless varieties may be served hot or cold, formally or informally, enjoyed solo, in a small group or a large gathering by people of all ages, all around the world. Whether served by itself or with other delicacies, it brings people together for a few moments to enjoy conversation and build relationships. All this from one plant! How amazing!

At Oak City Etiquette, we love teatime!  Our tea program covers the history, art and enjoyment of tea.  Our tea etiquette course provides all you need to know about types of tea, proper tea etiquette, teatime table settings, the differences between cream tea, afternoon tea and high tea, and teatime attire. We provide fun tips on how to host your own tea party, including suggested finger foods, themes, and much more.

This fun, interactive course may be tailored for children and adults. Inquire how Laurie may assist your group in specialized tea instruction.
